What is Handshake?
Handshake is the #1 place employers recruit college students and recent alumni. The system utilizes machine learning to offer you job and internship recommendations based on your personal career interests and goals. Handshake empowers you to build your network by facilitating connections with employers, career advisors, alumni, and peers. Log into your Handshake account to:
- Find part-time or seasonal jobs, post-graduate internships, and career opportunities from worldwide employers
- View and register for upcoming career fairs and events
- Access resources on career development topics, such as resumes, interviewing, LinkedIn, and more!
- Connect with students, other alumni, and employers
How can I access my Handshake Account?
To gain access to Handshake, you must first create an account in MONTCLAIRconnect, the online community exclusive to Montclair State alumni. Visit connect.dos5.net and follow the simple instructions for instant account verification. Once logged into MONTCLAIRconnect, you can access Handshake under Resources > Handshake.
